VHSC Welcomes New Sponsor: Fairway Social

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month ends, Vestavia Hills Soccer Club is proud to recognize Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center , our community partn er for this October's inaugural Adidas Next Gen Cup . Based in Birmingham, Forge supports breast cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones throughout Alabama and Mississippi—from the day of diagnosis through the rest of life. The organization works to remove barriers to treatment and improve health outcomes by addressing the physical, emotional, financial, and logistical challenges caused by breast cancer. Forge’s services include: A Home Away from Home Peer matching with trained breast cancer survivors Health and wellness classes Help with transportation costs Free mental health counseling Financial resources Nutrition counseling Support groups Forge’s Wig Library Forge also assists eligible patients with necessities such as groceries, utilities, rent, and mortgage payments. These resources help patients attend medical appointments, complete treatment, and receive meaningful support during an incredibly challenging time. VHSC is honored to have partnered with an organization doing such important work in our community. The Adidas Next Gen Cup was about more than competition—it was an opportunity to use the game we love to bring people together and shine a light on a mission that changes and saves lives.
