IKE'S BATTLE SOCCER SKILLS

Coach Ike Udeh was born in the eastern part of Nigeria. In Nigeria, soccer is not just a sport but the sport. Competitions were fierce and only the best players went on to participate at the professional level. Ike played with the Nigerian National Team from 1990-1992. In 1992 he came to the US on a full soccer scholarship and attended Alabama A&M University where he led his team in scoring.

In 1996, he was a member of the men’s all Sun-Belt Conference Team and was also voted the top striker by sunbelt coaches. In addition, Ike played as a striker for the Kansas City Wizards, a major league soccer team in Kansas City, Missouri. He later went on to play for the Jacksonville Cyclones, in Jacksonville, FL.

In 2005 while pursuing his master’s degree, Ike worked as an assistant coach for the Alabama a&m women soccer team. Coach Udeh enjoys teaching young kids and being a dad to his 5 children, 2 boys and 3 girls. He also enjoys being a loving husband to his beautiful wife, Cynthia.
