Organization

The Vestavia Hills Soccer Club is incorporated in the State of Alabama as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation.  The Club was established to promote soccer for children in age divisions U-4 through U-19.  The Club operates under the jurisdiction of the Parks and Recreation Board of the City of Vestavia Hills.  The Club is affiliated with the Alabama Youth Soccer Association, the Alabama Soccer Association, the Central Alabama Soccer League and the Region III Premier League.  Through its membership in the Alabama Youth Soccer Association, it is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association. 


The Mission of the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club is:

  • to provide a safe, varied, and organized soccer program with opportunities for growth in both physical and character development to girls and boys U6 to U19;

  • to incorporate players of all skill levels, from recreational to competitive, and to offer them the highest possible quality coaches, skills development and managers;

  • to provide direction in learning both fundamental and advanced techniques of soccer; and

  • to stress excellence of play and joy in the game, while learning good sportsmanship and having fun.

 

The operation and management of the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club is vested in the Executive Committee of the Club, elected by the vote of representatives from each team in the Club.  Each member of the Executive Committee also serves as an officer of the Club. The Club employs four full-time and one part-time, soccer professionals and an administrative staff.
