Two Vestavia 'Keepers Picked For National Events

Elijah Gibson from our Steamers 93 and Sarah Story from our Attack 92's have both been named to the Region III Olympic Development teams that will compete over the holiday break. Sarah will participate in the 2009 US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Winter Interregional event in Ridgeland, Miss., while Elijah will be down at Disney's Wide World of Sports, holding down the nets for the Region III '93's against the other three regions as they compete for National Team berths. Good luck to both of these great players, they have already done the club proud, and we wish them much success in the coming weeks. |
