INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. Register Online - Click Here!
  2. Players are strongly encouraged to attend all tryout sessions. In the event you are not able to attend or miss a tryout, please note while registering online. It is very important to arrive early as well as attend tryouts on the 1st two to three tryout days, as many of the teams will be selected well prior to the last scheduled tryout session.
  3. Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your tryout sessions to allow adequate time to complete check-in and allow your son/daughter enough time to warm up prior to the tryout start time.
  4. Upon arrival at Liberty Park Sports Park (New Turf Fields), please proceed to the sign-in table for your respective age group(s).
  5. On the first day of tryouts, there will be a TRYOUT PROCESS INFORMATIONAL MEETING for all parents in attendance of tryouts (players will be on fields with Coaches / Staff during this meeting). These will occur 15 minutes after the start of your tryout (Location: Turf Fields - See Details at Tryout). Do not miss these important meetings as one of our staff will go over Notification Procedures during tryouts.

PLAYER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

 

  • The club frequently begins making offers immediately following the first session. If you are unable to attend ANY session (especially the 1st tryout session!), but plan to attend later sessions, it is important that you notify the Club and its respective Directors via email and/or phone (please see contacts). This is strongly discouraged (if at all possible, players need attend the 1st 3 days of tryouts).

 

  • Notification of selection to a competitive team will be by Acceptance Letter and/or Verbal Commitment given prior, during, and/or following the tryout sessions.

 

  • Upon acceptance either by Verbal Commitment or Acceptance Letter, VHSC and Player are committed to the respective team for 2011 / 2012 seasonal year.

 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

 

  • It is the policy of the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club to make soccer available to all kids regardless of financial condition.
