Mayor's Cup 2011

 

The Mayor's Cup 3v3 soccer tournament will be a small-sided, fast-paced soccer tournament with the emphasis on having FUN. The Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Liberty Park Soccer Complex.

 

Tournament registration is open to boys' and girls' teams in age groups U6 (co-ed), U8, U9, and U10 as well as our new adult division. Individuals in recreational and competitive age groups U11, U12, U13 and U14 may also register to play. VHSC staff will assign individuals to teams in the older age groups. Teams in the older age groups may be co-ed depending on the number of individuals registering to play.

 

Registration is limited, so register now! The Tournament Registration deadline is April 25, 2011. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Note that there may be a maximum of 5 players per team to ensure that all players have plenty of playing time!

 

Every player participating will receive a Mayor’s Cup 3V3 tournament T-shirt and participation award. The Mayor's Cup will be a fun-filled day-long soccer festival for the whole family. There will be I inflatables, soda pop ring toss, egg toss, face painting, scavenger hunts (mini kickers), and music. New this year is the Liberty Park Residential After Party, featuring a free family pizza party from our friends at Liberty Park. Featured events are a dunk tank (watch out coaches), karaoke, live music, and free food for the whole family. Sign up today and plan on bringing the whole family.

 

All teams ages U6 through U10 will be eligible to win the Mayor’s Cup Team Jersey Contest! At the Mayor’s Cup, a panel of judges will identify the winning team jersey. No sign up is required! Jersey’s will be judged on originality and overall appeal! First and second place prizes will be awarded at noon on the football field in front of the DJ!


The team entry fee is $50 for U6 teams, $75 for U8 teams and $100 for U9 and U10 teams, as well as adult teams. The individual player entry fee for individual players in age groups U11 thru U14 is $20. Registration fees are due when the team or individual registers. 2:30 pm - Liberty Park Residential After Party (first round of pizzas delivered)

2:45 pm - Dunk-a-Coach booth so get your arm ready!
